Induction Procedure Policy

OWNIT Academy are committed to all learners receiving an enhancing learning experience where you achieve your goals and aspirations.  Therefore, we value your induction process, and this document sets out what you can expect from OWNIT Academy while you are studying with us

Safeguarding Policy

At OWNIT Academy we are committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all learners and staff.  This policy sets out our commitment to safeguarding and outlines the procedures we have in place to ensure that all learners and staff are protected from harm. 

Equality and Diversity Policy

We promote a working environment in which diversity is recognised, valued and encouraged.  We acknowledge the multi-cultural and diverse nature of the UK workforce and society in general.  We are committed to principles of fairness and mutual respect where everyone accepts the concept of individual responsibility.

Health and Safety Policy

OWNIT Academy are absolutely committed to ensuring the health, safety and welfare of all of our customers, employees, sub-contractors, suppliers and stakeholders. It is therefore our policy to adopt all reasonably practicable measures

Malpractice and Maladministration Policy

Malpractice is essentially any activity or practice which deliberately contravenes regulations and compromises theintegrity of the internal or external assessment process and/or the validity of certificates and associated achievement.

Complaints Policy and Process

This document sets out OWNIT Academy’s complaints policy and procedures and is aimed at our learners and all interested parties who encounter a direct or indirect service from OWNIT Academy.

Conflict of Interest Policy

The purpose of this Conflict-of-Interest Policy is to establish and uphold a culture of integrity, ensuring that all decisions and actions are made in the best interest of our stakeholders. This policy provides clear guidelines and procedures to identify, disclose, and effectively manage conflicts of interest that may arise.

Appeals Policy and Process

The purpose of an appeals procedure is to ensure that every learner who is not satisfied with the outcome of an assessment decision has the right to appeal. The appeals procedure applies to any learner following completion of an OWNIT Academy qualification and provides learners with a formal route to appeal against a decision. 

Privacy and Data Policy

We are committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of all those who use our website and services. This privacy policy explains the various ways in which we collect personal information and data about users of our website.
